Child Behavior Pathways: New Home And Expanded Services!

Child Behavior Pathways (aka CUIDAR For Attention and Learning) has a long and proud history as a California First 5 program.  As with essentially all grant programs, we were faced with the inevitable reality of decreased funding over the hears.  Despite the challenges, Child Behavior Pathways has always found a way to evolve and maintain an unshakeable commitment to our families and loyal partners throughout the community.

The latest stage of this evolution came in July 2020 when our First 5 funding came to its natural conclusion. Rather than allow the 18-year legacy of CUIDAR/Child Behavior Pathways to "die on the vine," a collaborative decision was made to reposition services into the clinical practice of our Program Director, Dr. Brett Patterson.

By keeping the services "in the family," so to speak, we are able to maintain the legacy of high quality behavior support programs, while also looking to expand our vision for prevention/early intervention programs for children and families well into the future. 

We are looking forward to resuming Post-COVID in-person parent Community Parent Education (COPE) services in the fall of 2022!  In the meantime, please be sure to check out Dr. Brett's NEW Behavior Compass Academy, an online/on-demand behavior support program for parents and teachers that includes his FREE "Staying Cool When Behaviors Heat Up" mini-course!
